The ideal Candidate must have very solid and broad background in IT, including a strong understanding of .NET Infrastructure, Technologies and Strategy. Combined with business or vertical industry knowledge and commercial acumen will mean you can offer counsel and COMPANY strategic representation at the most senior levels with COMPANY partners and enterprise customers. He /she must also be able to appreciate trends, market drivers and the likely impact of new technologies. Expertise in senior level relationship management should be combined with significant IT experience. PURPOSE /ROLE: The role of Consultants is primarily concerned with the delivery of high quality consulting services and opportunity development to either Enterprise Consulting or Partner Consulting. The focus of this role is on service delivery, design, development and deployment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and deploy quality software solutions using COMPANY technologies. Work with the Engagement Manager to develop and close business opportunities. Manage customer relationships and expectations at the service delivery level. Achieve revenue targets consistent with the overall targets of the consulting practice. Manage scope of personal work to ensure timely and on budget delivery. Actively assist in the development of best practice for the consulting group. Uncover opportunities for strategic technology penetration. Pursue self-development programs to maintain technical leadership. Contribute effectively to account manager planning activities. Effectively position COMPANY key strategic initiatives to senior IT decision makers. EXPERIENCE: At least 5 yrs experience in the IT field. Previous exposure to consulting business is appreciated. Must have had : - strong foundation in the architecture, development and deployment of software solutions in large-scale networked environments. - Experience selling consulting services to large accounts Skills & Behavioral Competencies include: . Credit Risk Manager /Senior Underwriter,
Our client specialises in facilitating business-to-business trade throughout the world by offering companies solutions to help them manage, finance and protect their receivables: information and company ratings, receivables management, receivables finance and protection. Our client requires a Senior Underwriter also called “Credit Risk Manager”. DEPARTMENT: Underwriting REPORTING TO: Underwriting Manager 1. Purpose and Key Performance Areas • Responsible for the technical result of the policies in a team i.e. for all existing risk management functions relating to the administration and control of the policies. To manage the policy portfolio so that it runs at a profit. • Approves limits within mandate and time frame. • To attend to finalizing quotations, and the inception of new policies. • To monitor the collections process, so that collections and salvages are maximized. • To administer and address policyholder queries. • To obtain and achieve premium budget as set by management. • To visit buyers to assess and monitor risk. • To visit policyholders when necessary to ensure that the risk management of the policy is addressed. • Review policies to ensure that they are priced and structured correctly. • Monitor buyers on a regular basis in order to maximize premium and minimize losses. • Present limits to the Underwriting Committee when necessary. • Reviews Automatic Suspension of Cover by policy, and reports on possible withdrawal or reduction of cover. • Reviews the Composite age analysis, highlighting buyer overdue balances, and instructs the collectors to contact the policyholders to query unpaid amounts. • Is responsible for the month end reporting of the team. • Manages the other team members in the absence of the Underwriting Manager. 2. Required minimum education • Matric plus an appropriate Bachelor’s degree or diploma 3. Required Minimum work Experience • Three to five years work experience in the credit insurance, finance or insurance industries, preferably underwriting or credit management. 4. Required Minimum Skills and Knowledge • Computer literacy, with proficiency in all the Windows applications, as well as the Internet and E-mail. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to be tactful. • Administratively strong. • Assertiveness. • A creative and innovative approach to problem solving. • Confidence. • The ability to absorb pressure. • Be self motivated. • Ability to work in a team environment. • Driver’s license. 5.
